Abstract
Objective: This research aimed to study the predictive correlation between background factors, learning
environment and academic achievement of medical student.
Methods: The sample was composed of 295 medical students, who were attending sixth-year medical student
of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in the acdemic year 2015. The data were collected
using questionnaire. The questionnaire was consisted of the factors related to achievement of the sixth-year
medical student of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The descriptive statistics were used
to analyze the demographic data in Pearson’s coefficient of correlation and enter multiple regression analysis.

medical student of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The descriptive statistics were used
to analyze the demographic data in Pearson’s coefficient of correlation and enter multiple regression analysis.
Conclusion: The background factors, learning environment and academic achievement of the sixth-year
medical student had relationships with significant statistics academic achievement of the sixth-year medical
student can be predicted.
