Abstract

Reform of bureaucracy and health service system in Thailand effects management in nursing organizations. The health care system has been transformed to provide quality health services. But in this changing and competitive environment all the time, the old model of organizational development in health service systems is often delayed. It cannot meet the expectations of society and the country. Therefore, setting up an organization to be a high performance organization (HPO) will put organizations in the health service system. It can develop both regional and international competitiveness.

Key element for the successful development into a high performance nursing  organization  is the  nursing staff in the organization that will be the asset and the cost of the organization. In addition to having the knowledge and ability to meet the needs of the organization, there is a need for an appropriate attitude to work in the nursing profession, and the way to think in line with the vision, purpose and corporate culture. Those people will make love commitment to the organization and will remain in the organization for a long time.   Management to acquire personnel with the right attitude to the needs of the organization requires serious cooperation of the school with the nursing organization. The pre-enrollment screening was a good fit for nursing practice. After attending school, and at work, there must be a process to encourage appropriate attitudes to remain and be embedded within the personnel. This is an important factor in the development of the quality of the organization to be able to adapt to the changing environment of the vision and goals as fully as possible.
