Abstract
The stage of labor is an important period which has a large change among physical, emotional, and social health. Maternity women have to encounter with pain, fear, anxiety, and stress through the stage of labor. Moreover, this situation may take place some adverse events or complications that are harmful for both mothers and their infants; particular, the teenage maternity woman is still immaturity of physical and psychological health as well as cognition. Therefore, the developing model of caring for teenage maternity is very essential for support them during facing with painful in the stage of labor. This article presented the model of caring for teenage maternity women during the stage of labor by relative support method applying the concept of Kayne, which is the model using specifically in the stage of labor. This concept consists of four supportive aspects, namely; Emotional support; Advice and information; Tangible assistance / Physical comfort measures, and Advocacy which covers all holistic dimensions among teenage women. In addition, this model emphasized family participation, especially psychological and emotional support which could help them encountered with painful in the stage of labor appropriately and increased satisfaction of their childbirth experiences.
