Abstract

Trichomoniasis, one of the common sexually transmitted diseases, can be asymptomatic or causes severe life disturbance. Although plain antibiotics like metronidazole can cure trichomoniasis, its persistence seems to be endless. The main obstacle against its elimination is diagnosis and management. This article aims to review the disease, especially on diagnosis and management and raise awareness among medical personnel.
