การศึกษาคุณลักษณะวิชาชีพรังสีเทคนิคที่พึงประสงค์ของนักรังสีเทคนิค ในระบบบริการสุขภาพ

การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะวิชาชีพรังสีเทคนิคที่พึงประสงค์ของนักรังสีเทคนิคในระบบบริการสุขภาพ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้บริหาร หัวหน้างาน และนักรังสีเทคนิค ในสถานบริการสุขภาพหรือสถาบันการศึกษาที่จัดการเรียนการสอนด้านรังสีเทคนิค ระหว่าง 1 มกราคม - 31 ธันวาคม 2562 ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึกผู้บริหาร และสนทนากลุ่มหัวหน้างานและนักรังสีเทคนิค วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) คุณลักษณะวิชาชีพของนักรังสีเทคนิคที่ปฏิบัติงานจริงในปัจจุบันเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานกำหนดตำแหน่ง 2) คุณลักษณะและสมรรถนะที่ต้องการ คือ ความรู้และทักษะทางรังสีวินิจฉัย เวชศาสตร์นิวเคลียร์ และรังสีรักษาตามมาตรฐานวิชาชีพ ควบคู่กับการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการประมวลผลภาพทางการแพทย์ 3) ควรมีความรู้ความเชี่ยวชาญตามมาตรฐานวิชาชีพ 4) ควรมีสมรรถนะพิเศษเพื่อการทำงานได้สำเร็จตามนโยบาย 5) การเรียนการสอนควรมีนักรังสีเทคนิคที่เป็นวิชาชีพเป็นผู้สอน เน้นการฝึกปฏิบัติงาน มีการพัฒนาด้านวิชาชีพ สมรรถนะอื่นๆ ที่ควรมี คือ ทักษะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคล ทักษะการสื่อสาร ใฝ่รู้ พัฒนาตนเอง การทำงานเป็นทีม การทำงานในชุมชนห่างไกล มีเจตคติที่ดี มีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม มีจิตบริการ รักชาติ อนุรักษ์ความเป็นไทย และมีความเป็นประชาธิปไตย อย่างไรก็ตาม การศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่าภาระงานของนักรังสีเทคนิคในปัจจุบันไม่เหมาะสมกับหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ กระทรวงสาธารณสุขควรมีนโยบายกระจายบุคลากรที่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการในระบบบริการสุขภาพ
