ประสิทธิผลของการนวดเท้าแผนไทยเพื่อลดอาการเท้าชาในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการนวดเท้าแผนไทยเพื่อลดอาการเท้าชาในคนไข้เบาหวาน ทำการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองจำนวนอาสาสมัคร 40 คน ที่มารับบริการที่คลินิกโรคเรื้อรัง ศูนย์สุขภาพชุมชนเมืองชลบุรี ซึ่งมีจำนวนจุดเท้าชาตั้งแต่ 2 จุดขึ้นไป โดยให้รับการรักษาด้วยยาเดิมร่วมกับนวดเท้าแผนไทยโดยแพทย์แผนไทยครั้งละ 20 นาที 2 ครั้ง/สัปดาห์ เป็นเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ ตรวจจุดชาที่ฝ่าเท้าด้วย 10-g Monofilament และการเกิดแผลใหม่ของเท้าที่ 2 และ 4 สัปดาห์ เปรียบเทียบด้วยสถิติ Repeated Measure ANOVA
          เมื่อเปรียบเทียบจุดชาที่เท้าก่อนได้รับการนวด(mean 4.33 ±1.92) กับหลังจากได้รับการนวดที่ 2 สัปดาห์ (mean 2.10 ± 2.13) และ 4 สัปดาห์ (mean 1.08 ± 1.62) พบว่าหลังจากได้รับการนวดที่ 2 และ 4 สัปดาห์ มีจุดชาที่เท้าลดลงตามลำดับอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ  (F(2,78) = 106.50, p<.001,df = 2) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบรายคู่พบว่า จุดเท้าชาที่ระยะหลังได้รับการนวดไปแล้ว 4 สัปดาห์ ลดลงเปรียบเทียบกับก่อนนวดและที่ระยะ 2 สัปดาห์ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p-value <0.001) และไม่พบอาสาสมัครมีแผลใหม่ที่เท้า
          สรุปผลการนวดเท้าแผนไทยในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 สามารถลดอาการเท้าชาได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ และไม่พบว่ามีอาสาสมัครมีแผลใหม่ที่เท้าหลังจากได้รับการนวดเท้าแผนไทย
