Publication Ethics

 The Nursing Journal of the Ministry of Public Health recognizes the importance of publication ethics and adheres to the following ethical practices:

  1. The manuscripts submitted for publication must not have been previously published in any book or journal. Exceptions are made for articles presented at academic conferences without a proceeding paper. Additionally, authors must not submit their articles to other journals simultaneously.
  2. The research manuscripts must have received approval from a Human Research Ethics Committee from a recognized institution, or they must comply with the ethical standards for human research.
  3. All a manuscripts submitted to the journal must undergo checks for duplication and plagiarism by the editorial team and/or qualified reviewers. If duplication or plagiarism is detected, the editorial team will discuss the case and, if agreed that the work constitutes plagiarism, the article will be rejected from further consideration.
  4. The journal only accepts the manuscripts that are free from conflicts of interest. Authors must declare any potential conflicts during the submission process using the journal’s provided form. The submitted manucripts will be reviewed by experts who have no conflicts of interest with the work.
  5. The journal does not request or mandate citation of its own previously published articles, whether directly or indirectly. All citations must follow academic principles without interference.
  6. The journal clearly announces its article processing charges in the author guidelines.

The journal commits to maintaining the quality of all published articles and ensures that they adhere to the ethical standards and publication code of conduct as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (www.publicationethics.org).
