Review Process
The management of manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal follows these steps:
- The author submits the manuscript and all supplements through the journal’s submission linked to the ThaiJo online system. If the submission is successful, the journal editorial team will receive a notification from the ThaiJo system indicating that a manuscript has been submitted to the journal.
- The journal editor conducts an initial review of the article’s quality and formatting. If the manuscript does not meet the journal’s requirements, it may be rejected or returned to the author for revision, depending on its quality. For the manuscripts that are returned for revision, once the author has made the initial corrections, the revised manuscript must be resubmitted through the ThaiJo system using the original submission ID.
- For articles that meet the required quality and formatting standards, the journal will send the manuscript to three experts for review and quality assessment through a double-blind review process.
- After the manuscript is reviewed by all three experts, the journal will proceed according to the reviewers' recommendations. The manuscript may be rejected or returned for revision. For the manuscript requiring revision, the author must revise the manuscript based on the reviewers’ suggestions and resubmit it through the online system within the specified timeframe. The duration and number of revision rounds may vary depending on the quality of the article, as determined by the journal’s editorial board.
Once the manuscript has been revised to meet the required quality standards, the editorial team will proceed with typesetting and proofreading to ensure accuracy in both content and formatting. The manuscript is then sent to the author for a final check and confirmation of its completeness and correctness. If further edits are needed, the editorial team will make the necessary changes. Finally, the article will be included in the journal publication.
