Abstract

Bronchoscopy is a procedure used to diagnose and treat various diseases in the respiratory system. It has gained recognition and is performed more frequently. This study of nursing care for patients undergoing bronchoscopy is limited. Therefore, it is important to study the topic in order  to improve the quality of patient care and reduce the risk of complications. In general, this type of care includes the pre-procedure which is the preparation of patients both physically and psychologically and preparation of the equipment. During the procedure, nursing care focuses on monitoring, caring for patients, and facilitating bronchoscopic procedures. In the post procedure, nursing care focuses on monitoring possible complications and the care of patients.
