ความพร้อมในการฝึกปฏิบัติในรายวิชาปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐาน ของนักศึกษาพยาบาล วิทยาลัยพยาบาลสภากาชาดไทย

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงบรรยายนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความพร้อมในการฝึกปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐานของนักศึกษาพยาบาล วิทยาลัยพยาบาลสภากาชาดไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต ที่ฝึกภาคปฏิบัติวิชาปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐาน เลือกด้วยวิธีเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) จำนวน 91 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล  2) แบบประเมินความพร้อมในด้านความรู้เนื้อหา  3)  แบบประเมินความพร้อมในการทำงานเป็นกลุ่ม 4) แบบประเมินความพร้อมในการศึกษาด้วยตนเอง  เครื่องมือมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟ่าครอนบาค เท่ากับ .81 .78 และ .75 ตามลำดับ และ 5) แบบประเมินความพร้อมด้านเจตคติต่อการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐานเป็นแบบสอบถามปลายเปิด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณา และวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า การประเมินความพร้อมในด้านความรู้เนื้อหา ใช้วิธีการเตรียมความพร้อมด้วยการอ่านหนังสือมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 92.00 รองลงมา คือ การทดลองนอกศูนย์การเรียนรู้ (Learning research center: LRC) ร้อยละ 73.90 ความพร้อมในการทำงานเป็นกลุ่มโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับต่ำ (x = 1.87 SD =.348) ความพร้อมในการศึกษาด้วยตนเอง มีค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับต่ำ(x = 2.31 SD =.333  ส่วนความพร้อมด้านเจตคติต่อการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐาน ในด้านต่างๆ สรุปประเด็นหลัก เป็นความคิดเห็นหรือความรู้สึกของกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีต่อผู้ป่วย ต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วย ต่อพฤติกรรมของพยาบาลที่ปฏิบัติต่อผู้ป่วย และการฝึกปฏิบัติการพยาบาลพื้นฐาน 

Readiness to practice in the Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum among nursing students at The Thai Red Cross College of Nursing

This descriptive study aimed to explore the readiness to practice in the Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum among nursing students at The Thai Red Cross College of Nursing. Ninety-one participants of sophomore nursing students who had placements in Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum were purposively sampled. This study employed content validated instruments: (1) personal information; (2) readiness in practice assessment; (3) readiness in self-directed learning assessment; (4) readiness in team working assessment; and (5) readiness in attitude to Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and content analysis.

The findings reveal that they prepared reading and self-study at LRC – 92% and 73.9% respectively. Also, the mean score of readiness in team working and self-learning were low (x=1.87, SD=0.348. ; X=2.31,S.D.=0.333) Readiness in attitude toward Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum were attitude toward patients, attitude toward nurses’ caring behavior to patient, and attitude toward practice. This study has the following recommendations: we should assess several aspects of nursing students’ readiness prior to Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum, promote self-directed learning, and provide practicum preparation sessions prior to practicum.
