ประสบการณ์การจัดอบรมหลักสูตรการผดุงครรภ์ สำหรับบุคลากรจากสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว

Abstract

การจัดอบรมหลักสูตรการผดุงครรภ์สำหรับบุคลากรจากสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาวเป็นความร่วมมือของ วิทยาลัยพยาบาลสภากาชาดไทย  Agency French Development(AFD) กระทรวงสาธารณสุขของสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว  และกาชาดสวิส (Swiss Red Cross) เพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรของสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาวให้มีความรู้และทักษะเพิ่มขึ้นในการดูแลมารดาทารกในระยะตั้งครรภ์  ระยะคลอด  ระยะหลังคลอด  รวมทั้งการวางแผนครอบครัว  และทารกแรกเกิด  โดยแบ่งการอบรมเป็น 2 รุ่นๆ ละ 14 คน ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมเป็นบุคลากรจากแขวงสะหวันนะเขต และนครเวียงจันทน์  มีระยะเวลาในการอบรมรุ่นละ 3 เดือน   รุ่นที่ 1 มีผู้เข้าอบรม 14 คน อบรมระหว่างวันที่  1 พฤศจิกายน  2553 –  วันที่ 21 มกราคม 2554   ภาควิชาการพยาบาลเด็กและการผดุงครรภ์ได้จัดการเรียนการสอนแบบเน้นผู้เข้ารับการอบรมเป็นศูนย์กลาง โดยมีการเรียนทั้งภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ  รวมทั้งการศึกษาดูงาน  เพื่อให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมนำไปใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานจริงได้

การเดินทางไปประเมินผลสัมฤทธิ์ของผู้เข้ารับการอบรมภายหลังกลับไปปฏิบัติงานยังหน่วยงานของตนแล้วประมาณ 4 เดือน   พบว่าผู้เข้ารับการอบรมนำความรู้ไปพัฒนางานบริการ  ปรับปรุงสถานที่  และนำความรู้ไปถ่ายทอดให้แก่ผู้ร่วมงาน ผู้บังคับบัญชาเห็นว่าการเข้ารับการอบรมมีประโยชน์ต่อทั้งหน่วยงานและผู้เข้ารับการอบรม  มีการพัฒนารูปแบบการให้บริการ  ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมมีความมั่นใจ      มีความเป็นผู้นำและมีบุคลิกภาพดีขึ้น  ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมมีความคิดเห็นว่า ระยะเวลาการอบรมเหมาะสมและต้องการให้เพิ่มเนื้อหาและทักษะในการสอนสุขศึกษา อีกทั้งเพิ่มเวลาในการฝึกปฏิบัติและศึกษาดูงานเพื่อให้ได้เห็นรูปแบบการดูแลสุขภาพมารดาทารกในประเทศไทยและ สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในหน่วยงานได้  ซึ่งภาควิชาการพยาบาลเด็กและการผดุงครรภ์จะนำมาปรับปรุงหลักสูตรเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการอบรมรุ่นต่อไป

Midwifery Training Courses for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The midwifery training courses for personnel from Laos were a collaboration of Thai Red Cross Nursing, Agency French Development (AFD), The Ministry of Health of Lao PDR and The Swiss Red Cross to develop the knowledge to the personnel of Lao PDR and to increase skills in taking care of mother and baby during the prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum period together with family planning and care of the newborn. The training course was divided into two versions, each of which had 14 staff from Savannakhet district and Vientiane City.  The duration of the course was 3 months.  The first group comprised 14 participants trained during November 1, 2010  to January 21, 2011.  The Department of Nursing and Midwifery set a training curriculum centred on the learner, which consisted of both theoretical and practical learning as well as studying to enable the participants to apply what they had learnt in their actual work.

Four instructors had travelled to Lao PDR to assess the achievements of the participants and later returned to their department to work for about four months and found that the participants had applied the knowledge to developing their service work, renovated the places and were able to transfer the knowledge to their colleagues, with the supervisors agreeing that the training was beneficial to both the organization and the participants.  There were developments in the service offered.  The participants were more confident, displayed greater leadership and better manner

The participants commented that it was appropriate training and they wanted the content and the skills taught about health education to be increased as well as the time for practice and studying the mother and newborn health care patterns in Thailand, and to be able to apply them in their department in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery will improve the curriculum for the benefit of the next training course.
