Abstract

               Negative symptoms are the predominant symptom in schizophrenic patients who lived in the community. The impairments of these patients were blunted affect, avolition, asociality, attention deficit in environment, and dysfunction in working and interaction with others.


               Nurse is a health care provider who plays a role to management of patient with negative symptoms in schizophrenia residing in a community and continuous care for adherence therapy, rehabilitation of patients and use of mental health and community psychiatric supportive resources. Finally, patients could live effectively in society and had a good quality of life.
