Abstract

Diabetes is endemic disease and causes various complications. There are numerous treatments to cure diabetes. One of them is the multidisciplinary care plan. This study objected to compare outcomes before and after multidisciplinary care at the Primary Care Cluster Clinic in Bangkruai Hospital. The study design was the retrospective medical record review research. The data from Bangkruai hospital’s server containing medical record of hospital information system named HosXP was imported and met the study protocol. The inclusion criteria are diabetic patients attending to Primary Care Cluster Clinic in Bangkruai Hospital and had the result of Blood pressure, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Hemoglobin A1C(HbA1C), Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in the period of 4th quarter of 2019 and 2021

The results showed that the study showed the multidisciplinary care do not provide a statistically significant result of reducing the level of Fasting Blood Sugar, Hemoglobin A1C, Low-density lipoprotein but provided a statistically significant result of increasing blood pressure.
