THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR TEACHING PHYSICAL EDUCATION THROUGH THE REFLECTIVE THINKING PROCESS OF STUDENT TEACHER IN SCHOOL IN THE THAILAND NATIONAL SPORT UNIVERSITY, LAMPANG CAMPUS

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study with the objective of investigating the effectiveness of a development of learning management model for teaching physical education. The model incorporates reflective thinking processes of student teacher in school in the National Sport University, Lampang Campus. The sample group consists of 30 fourth-year student teacher in school, selected and divided into experimental and control groups using the matching method. The sample size was determined using the G*power version 3.1.2 program. A reflective thinking-based developmental model was used in the study. It had an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 0.85. and an evaluation instrument for teaching management in physical education, the IOC was 0.82, and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.77. Data using descriptive statistic and The Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that the total mean scores of teaching and learning between the experimental and control groups were significantly different at the 0.05., The mean scores for teaching preparation and learning management in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with a significance level of 0.05., there were no significant differences in classroom management and personal characteristics between the two groups. The steps for teaching physical education after the experiment between the experimental group and the control group Overall and every step were significantly different at the 0.05.
