การพัฒนาคุณภาพข้อมูลด้านการป้องกันและรักษาผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวีในพื้นที่ โดยเครื่องมือ Data-driven Continuous for Quality Improvement (DQI) ถือเป็นการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีมาใช้ในการพัฒนาคุณภาพข้อมูล และสามารถนำผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงการให้บริการในหน่วยบริการสุขภาพให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มขึ้น เพื่อการเตรียมความพร้อม ในการขยายพื้นที่การดำเนินงานให้ครอบคลุมทั่วประเทศ ดังนั้น จึงมีความจำเป็นในการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จในการพัฒนาคุณภาพข้อมูล โดยเฉพาะปัจจัยความพร้อมด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ
วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยความพร้อมทางด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จของการดำเนินงานพัฒนาคุณภาพข้อมูลด้านการป้องกันและรักษาผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี โดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นบุคลากรที่รับผิดชอบงานโรคเอดส์ของหน่วยบริการสุขภาพที่ใช้เครื่องมือ DQI ใน 4 จังหวัดของประเทศไทย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนาและใช้สถิติเชิงอนุมานในการเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของคะแนนเฉลี่ยด้านปัจจัยความพร้อมทางด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ 5 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ ด้านฮาร์ดแวร์ ด้านซอฟต์แวร์ ด้านบุคลากร ด้านกระบวนการ และด้านการใช้ประโยชน์จากข้อมูล เป็นต้น โดยใช้ independent t-test
ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าองค์ประกอบของปัจจัยความพร้อมทางด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ 4 ด้าน
(ด้านซอฟต์แวร์ ด้านบุคลากร ด้านกระบวนการ และด้านการใช้ประโยชน์จากข้อมูล) มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแตกต่างกันด้านความสำเร็จในการดำเนินงานพัฒนาคุณภาพข้อมูลในพื้นที่ (p-value <0.05) นอกจากนี้ พบว่า องค์ประกอบด้านซอฟต์แวร์ มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแตกต่างกันต่อการลดระยะเวลาในการดำเนินงาน และองค์ประกอบด้านซอฟต์แวร์ และด้านบุคลากร มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแตกต่างกันด้านการนำเครื่องมือ DQI ไปสู่ปฏิบัติในหน่วยงาน ผลการศึกษายังชี้ให้เห็นถึงสำคัญของการเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านทรัพยากรต่าง ๆ ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยกำหนดความสำเร็จที่สำคัญต่อความยั่งยืนของการดำเนินงานในระดับพื้นที่ เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลในการตัดสินใจในการวางแผนการขยายการดำเนินงานพัฒนาคุณภาพให้ครอบคลุมทั่วประเทศต่อไป
