การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียว วัดก่อนและหลังซ้ำ วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความรู้เรื่อง HIV/AIDS ทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ พฤติกรรมความตั้งใจในการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ และการรับรู้ประสิทธิภาพของพฤติกรรมการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ ระยะก่อนการทดลอง ระยะหลังการทดลอง และระยะติดตามผล ในวัยรุ่นการศึกษานอกระบบ และการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยในเขตอำเภอฉวาง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช สุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น คำนวณกลุ่มตัวอย่างเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยในประชากรสองกลุ่มที่ไม่อิสระต่อกันโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป G*power version 3.2 ได้จำนวน 220 คน โปรแกรมผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน ทดสอบความเที่ยงของเครื่องมือกับวัยรุ่นจำนวน 30 คน ประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามความรู้เรื่องเอชไอวีเอดส์ ใช้การทดสอบ KR-20 ได้ค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.81 แบบสอบถามทัศนคติต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันเชื้อเอชไอวีเอดส์ แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมความตั้งใจในการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ และแบบสอบถามการรับรู้ประสิทธิภาพของพฤติกรรมการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ ใช้การทดสอบสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคได้ค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.80, 0.80 และ 0.96 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซ้ำ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนของความรู้เรื่องเอชไอวี/เอดส์ ทัศนคติต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันเชื้อเอชไอวี/เอดส์ พฤติกรรมความตั้งใจในการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ และ การรับรู้ประสิทธิภาพของพฤติกรรมการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ ระยะหลังการทดลอง (วันที่4) และระยะติดตามผล (วันที่15) สูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 จากผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าโปรแกรมการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์สามารถเพิ่มความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันเอชไอวี/เอดส์ นำไปสู่ความตั้งใจและรับรู้ในการป้องกันตนเอง เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงต่อการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี
