Role and Development of Thai Nurse Midwife

Abstract

This paper presents midwifery science in Thailand, roles and development of midwifery program and nurse midwifery program. The integration of midwifery program with Bachelor nursing program, master of nursing science program focuses on advanced practice roles are also presented.  The career path to Board Certified Training Program in Midwifery is discussed.
