การส่งเสริมบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา: บทบาทพยาบาลผดุงครรภ์

การเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา มีประโยชน์ต่อทั้งทารก มารดา ครอบครัว สังคม และประเทศชาติ บิดาเป็นบุคคลที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสำเร็จในการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา บทบาทของบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา เริ่มตั้งแต่การวางแผนร่วมกัน การมีส่วนร่วมกับมารดาในการตัดสินใจที่จะให้นมมารดาแก่บุตร การส่งเสริมสนับสนุนตั้งแต่ในระยะตั้งครรภ์ และช่วยเหลือดูแลมารดาทั้งด้านร่างกาย และจิตใจในระหว่างที่ให้นมบุตรในระยะหลังคลอดจนบุตรอายุ 2 ปีหรือมากกว่า อย่างไรก็ตามยังพบข้อจำกัดของบิดาในการแสดงบทบาทการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา เนื่องจากขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา พยาบาลผดุงครรภ์สามารถส่งเสริมบทบาทของบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา เริ่มตั้งแต่การให้คำปรึกษา การให้ความรู้ และการเสริมสร้างทัศนคติที่ดีในการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา ตลอดจนการพัฒนากิจกรรมในการช่วยส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมของบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา ซึ่งจะเป็นแนวทางที่ช่วยให้บิดาเกิดความมั่นใจในบทบาทของตนเองในการสนับสนุนมารดาให้ประสบความสำเร็จในการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา
บทความวิชาการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอ ความรู้ ทัศนคติ พฤติกรรมของบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา และบทบาทพยาบาลผดุงครรภ์ในการส่งเสริมบิดาในการสนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดา เพื่อให้พยาบาลผดุงครรภ์ และบุคลากรทางด้านสุขภาพที่เกี่ยวข้องสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการส่งเสริมบทบาทบิดาให้สนับสนุนการเลี้ยงบุตรด้วยนมมารดาได้อย่างเหมาะสม
