The purpose of this research was to study factors affecting the implementation results of Subdistrict Administrative Organization on the dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control criteria manual for local governments in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The sampling group was selected through purposive sampling technique, by ranking the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations that had the mean morbidity rate in the past 5 years (2005-2009) from highest to lowest. Then, the first 50 Subdistrict Administrative Organizations with high incidence rate, and the last 50 Subdistrict Administrative Organizations with low incidence rate, which was equivalent to 100 Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in total. Data analysis was done by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Research results showed that 74.0 percent of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations with high incidence rate had the implementation results at a level where improvement is needed while 56.0 percent of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations with low incident rate had the implementation results at an acceptable level. Vision, policy and goal had strongest effect toward the results, followed by materials and equipments management, and planning, respectively. All factors had a positive effect and jointly forecasted the implementation results by 49.0 percent. Research findings suggested that there should be promotion and support for the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations to emphasize on vision, policy and goal, and planning for a better implementation with more coverage as well as the more appropriate and adequate material and equipments management in order to have the implementation results that passed the dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention and control criteria in the manual.
