การเสริมสร้างความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพหัวใจผู้ป่วยสูงอายุกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจขาดเลือดหลังการขยายหลอดเลือดหัวใจในระยะผู้ป่วยนอก

ปัจจุบันประชากรผู้สูงอายุทั่วโลกมีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้น เมื่ออายุที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นส่งผลให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงของร่างกายโดยเฉพาะการเปลี่ยนแปลงการทำงานของหัวใจลดลงส่งผลให้เกิดภาวะกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจขาดเลือด ผู้ป่วยจะได้รับการรักษาโดยการทำหัตถการสวนหลอดเลือดหัวใจซึ่งเป็นวิธีการหนึ่งที่มีประสิทธิภาพ เมื่อพ้นจากภาวะวิกฤตที่คุกคามต่อชีวิตผู้ป่วยจะได้รับคำแนะนำในการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพหัวใจเพื่อปรับเปลี่ยนปัจจัยเสี่ยง และลดการกำเริบซ้ำ แต่อุปสรรคที่สำคัญก็คือทั้งผู้ป่วยและญาติยังมีความเข้าใจน้อยและยังไม่ได้ทราบประโยชน์ของการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพหัวใจ โดยเฉพาะในระยะผู้ป่วยนอก ดังนั้นผู้ป่วยจึงได้รับการให้คำแนะนำเพื่อเสริมสร้างความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพซึ่งเป็นตัวกำหนดแรงจูงใจและความสามารถของบุคคลในการเข้าถึง เข้าใจและการใช้ข้อมูลในวิธีการต่างๆ เพื่อส่งเสริมและรักษาสุขภาพที่ดีส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยสูงอายุกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจขาดเลือดหลังการขยายหลอดเลือดหัวใจเกิดการเรียนรู้และสามารถเลือกความรู้ที่เหมาะสมกับตนเอง ในการจัดการกับปัญหาได้อย่างถูกวิธี
