Abstract

Nowadays, the proportion of elderly population continues to increase.  As the age increases, resulting in changes in the body, especially lower changes in heart function, resulting in myocardial infarction.  Patients are treated by cardiac catheterization, which is an effective method. After the crisis of life threatening, patients will receive heart rehabilitation advice to adjust risk factors and reduce recurrence, but the main drawback is that both patients and relatives still have little understanding and have yet to know the benefits of joining the heart rehabilitation program, especially in the outpatient.  Therefore, patients are advised to strengthen health knowledge which determines the motivation and ability of the person to access, understand and use information in various ways to promote and maintain good health, resulting in elderly patients with myocardial ischemia after coronary artery enlargement in learning and able to choose the knowledge that is appropriate for themselves in dealing with problems correctly.
