ความรู้ ทัศนคติที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของพนักงานเก็บขนขยะของเทศบาลตำบลในจังหวัดภูเก็ต

งานวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวางโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับความรู้ ทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของพนักงานเก็บขนขยะ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของความรู้ ทัศนคติที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของพนักงานเก็บขนขยะในพื้นที่เทศบาลตำบล 9 แห่งของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งสิ้น 136 คน ด้วยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงและใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือวิจัย สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้ด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานในระดับน้อย และมีทัศนคติด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนพฤติกรรมด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของกลุ่มตัวอย่างอยู่ในระดับดี ทั้งนี้ ความรู้ฯ และทัศนคติฯ มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง (r=0.323) และ (r=0.281) ที่นัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.01 อย่างไรก็ดี หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องควรอบรมเพิ่มความรู้ด้านความปลอดภัยและสร้างทัศนคติที่ถูกต้องในการทำงาน รวมไปถึงควรมีมาตรการติดตามทำงานของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ตลอดจนการจัดสรรเจ้าหน้าที่เพิ่มเติมเพื่อให้พนักงานเก็บขนขยะได้มีเวลาพัก ซึ่งจะช่วยลดอุบัติเหตุและเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการทำงานของพนักงานเก็บขนขยะได้
