Factors Influencing the Immunization Fully Criteria of Childhood in Krachan Sub-district, U-Thong District, Suphan Buri Province

This survey study aimed to assess the parental knowledge of immunization, parental perceiving on benefits and disadvantages of immunization in childhood, immunization services accessibility of childhood and determine associated factors related to the immunization fully criteria of childhood in Krachan sub-district U-Thong district, Suphanburi Province among 216 parents. Data were collected through questionnaire interviews included the parental knowledge of immunization (KR-20=0.827), parental perceiving on benefits and disadvantages of immunization in childhood and immunization services accessibility of childhood (Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient=0.810 and 0.924). Data were analyzed using Logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the parental knowledge of immunization was at moderate level. Parental perceiving on benefits and disadvantages of immunization in childhood were at high level. Immunization services accessibility of childhood were also at high level. Factors influencing to the immunization fully criteria of childhood included marital status and immunization services accessibility of childhood for five aspects. Such factors could together predicted 88.41% of the immunization fully criteria of childhood. In conclusion, the parents who were married and could access to immunization health services were result in an increase in vaccination according to the age criteria of young children.
