Quality of Life for Diabetics in a Community Health Center, Wang Thong District, Phitsanulok Province

This ross-sectional study aimed to determine the quality of life of diabetic patients of one community health center, Wang Thong district, Phitsanulok province. The study subjects were diagnosed patient with diabetes by doctors and in the responsible area of a community health center, Wang Thong District, Phitsanulok Province. Stratified random sampling was performed in villages using 159 samples. The questionnaire interviews were conducted for quality of life of 5-scale dimensions with reliability of 0.94. The statistics used were percentage, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA.
The results showed diabetic patients of community health center, Wang Thong district, Phitsanulok province had the level of quality of life in all dimensions at a moderate level. Diabetic patients who had age, smoking history, and treatment presented levels of quality of life were different, but there were no different in quality of life for sex, income, duration of knowledge of diabetes, marital status, education level, occupation, and complications.
