Report on Awareness of Rabies in Pattalung, Trang and Songkhla Provinces

Abstract​;

 To​ survey of​ awareness​ and​  action​ in​ controling the​ rabies,Activity; interview 10​ people​ in​ each​ community​ For​ 10​ community​ in​ the​ area​ which​ got​  2​or more rabies​ positive samples in​ april  ​2018.Result​;  320​ persons got​ information​ on​ decease by​ rabies.   television is​ the​ most​  information​ Source. know that​ should getting  rabies​  vaccined​ after​ got​injured from​ dog/cat at​ health​ care​ service​ office.  awareness​ on​ rabies​ can be​ contaminated if direct​ contacted blood​ or​ saliva of​ dog/cat  even without wound. awareness​ on​ rabies​ cannot​ disinfected by​ washing  by​ water, soup washing​ apply betadine onto wound.  awareness​ on​ not​ nessesary to​ see docter if dog/cat​ scratched without​ getting​ wound.  unknow that​ panishable to​ dog/cat​ owner​ if​ not​ getting​ anti rabies​ vaccined​ For​ dog/cat.  know  that​ stray​ dog​ creat problems but do not like eradicate.  acknow​ledge that​ dog/cat not​ getting anti rabies​ vaccined​ because of​ cannot catch them.Summary and​ analys​; coperation of​ community​ leader or spilitual leader​ is​ the​ key maker on​ transfer​ disease​ knowledge​ and​ related  lows  For​ rabies​ planning  and​ control​ directive.
