Factors effecting Registered Nurse’s Service Mind Behaviors in Bandung Crown Prince Hospital Ampher Bandung Udon Thani Province

This cross-sectional analysis study aimed to study factors predicting service mind behaviors of registered nurses in Bandung Crown Prince Hospital, Udon Thani Province. Subjects were 85 registered nurses working in Bandung Crown Prince Hospital in Udon Thani Province with simple random sampling. Data were collected from March to June 2019. Study questionnaire interviews were consisting of items including general information, patient advocacy, acceptance of individual differences, cultural competency, and service mind behaviors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis.
The results showed that overall, the service mind behaviors of the registered nurses were at the high level ( = 4.59, S.D.= 0.38).
Influencing factors of mental service behaviors of professional nurses was the acceptance factor, individual difference (p <.001), cultural performance (p = .001), and age (p = .029). Three factors could explain for 55.30% (AdjR2 = .553) and were statistically significant (p=<.001).
Therefore, the hospital should launch activities for enhancing and strengthening service mind behaviors in relation to the acceptance of individual differences and the cultural competency.
