Guardians’ Expectation on Bachelor of Thai Traditional Medicine Program, Thaksin University

This research study aimed to examine the expectations of guardians regarding the management of the Bachelor of the Thai traditional medicine program of Thaksin University. Our population sample was 135 guardians of students studying in the second semester of 2019 of a Bachelor of Thai traditional medicine program. The researchers collected data from the entire population using a questionnaire. We calculated descriptive statistics including the mean ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.). We used a one-way ANOVA results to examine the expectations of the students’ guardians for teaching management of this Bachelor of Thai traditional medicine program. Overall, we found that guardians had high expectations for this Bachelor of Thai traditional medicine program ( =4.42, S.D.=0.46). Guardians had the highest expectations for the quality of teachers ( =4.51, S.D.=0.54). We did not find significant differences in the expectations of guardians on teaching management of this bachelor of Thai traditional medicine program when stratifying guardians’ education level, income, and occupation (p>0.05).
