Factors Related to Behavior Soy Milk Consumption of Students of the Demonstration School of a University in the North of Thailand

Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to assess factors associated with soy milk consumption behaviors among 190 students at one Demonstration School of a university in the Northern using a simple random sampling. Data were collected by using questionnaires and were analyzed using, percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi-square tests. 

              The results showed most students had consuming soy milk at moderate. Age, GPA, monthly stipend, attitude and choices were correlated with soy milk consumption behaviors of the students        (p-value ≤ 0.05). Therefore, students, teachers, executives and related agencies should be aware of the importance and to promote soy milk consumption since it was a beneficial effect on health.
