This cross-sectional study was conducted to assess patients’ knowledge on COVID-19 pandemic, study patients’ behavior for COVID-19 prevention and control, evaluate patients’ confidence for health services from field hospitals in the Trang province, Thailand, and study potential factors associated with patients’ confidence for health services. The study was performed between June and July 2021. A self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection. Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the association between potential factors and confidence in health services. The results revealed that patients’ knowledge on COVID-19 pandemic was at good level (56.3%). Their behavior demonstrating COVID-19 prevention and control was at good level (57.4%). Their confidence level for quality of health services was high (53.0%). Having their hometown in the Trang province and level of behavior for COVID-19 prevention and control were significantly associated with their confidence in quality of health services from field hospitals. Having their hometown in the Trang province was associated with having 1.7 times higher confidence in the quality of health services from field hospitals (aOR 1.755, 95% CI 1.045 - 2.947). Having average behavior for COVID-19 prevention and control was associated with 1.6 times higher (aOR = 1.575, 95% CI = 1.047 - 2.370) confidence in the quality of health services compared to those with a good level of COVID-19 prevention and control.
