As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a Cordia 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all figures and tables are placed at the end of the text.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The types of articles published in journals consist of Research report / Original article, Review article, Case study report or Letter to the editor.

 

Documents for submission to the editorial team in the system

  1. The consent document for publication in the journal of physical therapy and the assurance that the submitted article is the original article that has never been submitted before and does not submit this article for consideration in other journals along with the signatures from all the authors (Request form to submit publication)
  2. Document file that contains
    1. The title page consists of (Title page file sample file)
    2. Title in both Thai and English
    3. The author's name is provided in both Thai and English
    4. Affiliation of the author, both Thai and English
    5. Specify the name of the person responsible for the article (Corresponding author) including the address and email
    1. Title in both Thai and English
    2. Abstracts in Thai and English
    3. Keyword both in Thai and English 5 words each
    4. The whole article (Introduction, methodology, research findings, reviews, summaries, acknowledgments Reference documents)
    1. Main article text, in which the content is arranged according to the journals specified. The file must not contain the name of the author and their affiliation (Main article text sample file).
    2. Table. The accompanying table file should be in a Word file format, not an image. All the tables in the same order are arranged.
    3. Figure. The accompanying image file is extracted from the article, separated by 1 file per image in image format (in JPEG or TIFF file format) and has a resolution of more than 300 dpi by specifying the file name in the order of the images displayed in the article
    4. Application and Declaration form is a PDF scan file. All authors must sign this document. (Request form to submit publication) 
    5. Ethical approval documents are a PDF scan file showing proof of the ethical approval of the research project.

 

Manuscript preparation

  1. The language used in Thai or English. In the case of a research article, the manuscript is requested to have abstracts in both Thai and English.
  2. In case that manuscript is written in English, research articles must not exceed 4,000 words and academic articles must not exceed 6,000 words, including abstracts. For the figure and table section, a total of no more than 5 figures/tables, with each figure/table are request to split the file into one file per image.
  3. In case that manuscript is written in Thai, there must be an abstract in English not exceeding 250 words in length and the content of the abstract must be divided into sub-tributes as follows: Background, Objective, Method, Result, Conclusion, and Keyword Both Thai and English do not exceed 5 words each)
  4. Please specify the name, address, and email of the author responsible for the article (corresponding authors) and fill in the name, address and email details of all authors in the system.
  5. Please use font Cordia New, size 14, both Thai and English and provide a double spaced style with a 1-inch margin on all sides. Enter the line and page number clearly.
  6. Arrange the contents of the article as follows:
    1. Abstract (both Thai and English, with keywords in Thai and English 5 words each) (Abstract sample file)
    2. Introduction
    3. Method of research * In the case of human research, author(s) must be specified and approved by the Institute's Ethics Committee including specifying the research ethics approval number*
    4. Results
    5. Discussion
    6. Conclusion
    7. Acknowledgments (if any)
    8. Reference documents are in English only. (In the case that the reference document is in Thai language, the author is requested to adjust the reference document in English)
    1. Abstract (both Thai and English, with keywords in Thai and English 5 words each)
    2. Article content must specify clear objectives and shows the synthesis of content from the literature review that is referenced and through a systematic arrangement
    3. Reference documents are in English only (In the case that the reference document is in Thai language, author is requested to change of the reference document into English) and not accepting references from the website

  7. The reference style is the Vancouver style which should be arranged in numerical order by placing the numbers in superscript without parentheses (superscript) at the end of the text.
  8. References at the end of the article should not reference more than 40 items and use the Vancouver style as follows
