About the Journal:
• History of the Journal
The Nursing Journal of the Ministry of Public Health was originally named the Journal of the Nurse Alumni Association of the Ministry of Public Health. It was established under the policy of the Alumni Association of the Ministry of Public Health Nurses. The first issue was published on October 1, 1989, with production funding from the Alumni Association. In 2011, the journal applied for quality certification from TCI and was first certified in Tier 1 on February 9, 2011. Most recently, following the assessment of journals in the TCI database for the 5th round (2025-2029) on February 4, 2025, the Ministry of Public Health Nursing Journal remains in Tier 1.
• Aims and Scope
The Nursing Journal of the Ministry of Public Health aims to be a platform for publishing academic work in nursing, midwifery, public health, and medical social sciences. It also promotes the production and dissemination of high-quality academic works and the development of scholars in both academic and ethical aspects through the publication process according to national and international standards.
The journal publishes research and academic articles written in Thai or English. Submitted articles for publication consideration must not have been published or be under review elsewhere. The journal employs a double-blind review process, keeping both authors and reviewers anonymous throughout. The scope of content covers nursing, midwifery, public health, and medical social sciences.
• Types of Published Articles
The journal publishes original articles that are research reports and academic articles according to the guidelines provided for authors.
• Language
The journal publishes original articles prepared in Thai or English, written correctly according to academic writing.
• Publication Frequency
The journal has been published three issues per a year as follows:
Issue 1: January - April
Issue 2: May - August
Issue 3: September - December
• Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate access to its content based on the principle of making research freely available to the public, supporting international knowledge exchange without any membership fees or conditions.
• Publication Charges
The journal charges a fee of 6,000 THB (six thousand baht)
• Ownership and Management
The Nurse Alumni Association of the Ministry of Public Health owns and manages the journal.
• Publisher
The journal is published online by the Nurse Alumni Association of the Ministry of Public Health.
• Revenue Sources
The journal receives financial support from the Nurse Alumni Association of the Ministry of Public Health.
• Copyright and Licensing
The authors of each article retain copyright for their published works in the journal, while others may use them under the condition that the articles are properly cited, not altered, and not used commercially without permission from the authors, ensuring proper attribution to the authors and the journal. The authors are responsible for the content of their articles, except for errors arising from the printing process.
