ความรู้ ทัศนคติ และความคาดหวังต่อการตรวจสารพันธุกรรม ของผู้หญิงที่เป็นมะเร็งเต้านม

บทคัดย่อ
ความผิดปกติในรหัสพันธุกรรมของยีน BRCA1 และ BRCA2 เป็นสาเหตุของการเกิดมะเร็งเต้านมการตรวจความผิดปกติของยีนทั้งสองนี้เป็นแนวทางในการรักษาและป้องกันโรคที่คำนึงถึงความผิดปกติของยีน วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษาครั้งนี้ เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ ทัศนคติ และความคาดหวัง ต่อการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมของผู้หญิงที่เป็นมะเร็งเต้านม ใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านม รวมจำนวน 127 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง โดยมีเกณฑ์คัดเข้า เครื่องมือวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แบบทดสอบความรู้เกี่ยวกับมะเร็ง การผิดปกติของยีน การตรวจสารพันธุกรรมจำนวน 13 ข้อ และ 2) แบบสอบถามทัศนคติและความคาดหวังในการตรวจสารพันธุกรรม จำนวน 9 ข้อ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นมะเร็งเต้านม อายุเฉลี่ย 53.30 ปี (SD±12.6) การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ร้อยละ 47.2 มีประวัติคนในครอบครัวเป็นมะเร็งเต้านม ร้อยละ 27.6 กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 38 คน (ร้อยละ 31.6) ได้คะแนนความรู้มากกว่าร้อยละ 50 ของคะแนนความรู้ สนใจที่จะเรียนรู้ในการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมในโรคมะเร็ง ร้อยละ 72.4 เชื่อว่าการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมจะช่วยให้เกิดการดูแลโรคมะเร็งที่ดีขึ้น ร้อยละ 74.0 ต้องการตรวจสารพันธุกรรม ร้อยละ 76.4 มีความรู้เพียงพอเกี่ยวกับประโยชน์จากการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมเพื่อตัดสินใจในการตรวจ ร้อยละ 35.4 ต้องการคำปรึกษาทางพันธุกรรมที่เป็นทางการก่อนที่จะเข้ารับการตรวจ ร้อยละ 70.1 สรุป ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมมีความรู้ไม่เพียงพอในการตรวจสารพันธุกรรม แต่ต้องการตรวจสารพันธุกรรม จึงควรมีการพัฒนาโปรแกรมให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการตรวจสารพันธุกรรมให้กับผู้ป่วย
