ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพการจัดการความปวดในผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคมะเร็ง

บทคัดย่อ
ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพมีผลต่อสถานะสุขภาพและผลลัพธ์ด้านสุขภาพ และความปวดจากโรคมะเร็งเป็นปัญหาสำคัญในผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคมะเร็ง การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ ความรุนแรงความปวด การรับรู้ความปวดและการจัดการความปวดในผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคมะเร็ง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคมะเร็งที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นผู้ป่วยโรงพยาบาล 4 แห่ง จำนวน 880 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ตามคุณลักษณะเกณฑ์การคัดเข้า เครื่องมือวิจัยประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพการจัดการความปวดในผู้สูงอายุโรคมะเร็ง และแบบสอบถามความปวด Brief Pain Inventory ( BPI) ฉบับภาษาไทย เครื่องมือวิจัยมีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ .91-1.0 และค่าความเที่ยง Cronbach’s alpha coefficient เท่ากับ .81 วิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคมะเร็งมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับไม่ดีถึงพอใช้ ผู้ป่วยมีความปวดอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ผลกระทบของความปวดมีผลต่อการนอนหลับมากที่สุด การจัดการความปวดส่วนใหญ่เป็นการใช้ยา ผลการจัดการความปวดอยู่ในระดับดี ร้อยละ 5.1 การจัดการความปวดยังไม่เพียงพอ ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานสำหรับบุคลากรสุขภาพในการวางแผน ส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ และการจัดการความปวดในผู้สูงอายุโรคมะเร็ง
