Abstract

This quasi-experimental research aimed to study the effect of using e-learning on the moral reasoning and ethical attitude of 150 nursing students.  A set of questionnaires comprising  the moral reasoning and ethical attitude and situation-based e-learning was used in this study.  Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and repeated measures  ANOVA.  The result showed that the evaluation scores for moral reasoning were not statistically significant difference in the same group (F = 2.958, p = .087) but difference between the groups (F = 14173.93, p < .001). The evaluation scores for the ethical attitude were statistically significant difference in the same group (F = 5.83, p < .05) and difference between the groups (F = 7229.036, p <.001) of the post evaluations compared to the pre evaluations.  E-learning media cannot enhance the skill for moral reasoning in nursing students.  Therefore, there should be another platform of teaching coordinate with e-learning.
