Abstract

Promoting healthy behaviors among postpartum adolescent mothers for a new normal lifestyle involves adjusting the behavior of these mothers to realize the importance of appropriate self - care, including 1) taking responsibility for their health during the postpartum period, as they need to understand and adapt to self - care behaviors in accordance with a new way of life that prioritizes safety for themselves; 2) proper physical movement after childbirth; 3) nutrition, including a complete, healthy food intake from all five food groups for postpartum mothers who are breastfeeding. 4) interpersonal relationships, as it is important to show concern for family members, including husbands, and for the mothers of teenage mothers to refrain from touching and interacting with unknown or familiar people; 5) spiritual development; and 6) managing the stress experienced by postpartum adolescent mothers from anxiety or parenting fatigue, in which family members play an important role in helping to reduce the teenage mothers’ stress.
