Abstract

การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองมีผลต่อการมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศในวัยรุ่นหญิงหลายพฤติกรรมรวมทั้งพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ วัยรุ่นหญิงตอนต้นที่เห็นคุณค่าในตนเองต่ำ มักแสวงหาการยอมรับจากคนรอบข้างและมีแนวโน้มที่จะเริ่มมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศและเพศสัมพันธ์เพื่อให้เกิดความรู้สึกดีต่อตนเอง พยาบาลอนามัยโรงเรียนเป็นบุคลากรทีมสุขภาพที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมคุณค่าในตนเองเพื่อป้องกันพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศของวัยรุ่นหญิงตอนต้น ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 1. วัยรุ่นหญิงตอนต้นซึ่งเป็นผู้ตัดสินใจมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ โดยการส่งเสริมการมีความสำคัญ การมีความสามารถ การมีคุณความดีและการมีพลังอำนาจ 2. ผู้ปกครอง โดยการส่งเสริมแนวทางการดูแลบุตรเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณค่าในตนเอง 3. โรงเรียน ควรส่งเสริมให้ผู้บริหารมีความตระหนักและมีนโยบายที่ชัดเจน รวมถึงครูมีการส่งเสริมการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเรียนการสอนเพศศึกษา บทความนี้จะนำเสนอความสำคัญของการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองของวัยรุ่นหญิงตอนต้นกับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ และบทบาทพยาบาลอนามัยโรงเรียนในการส่งเสริมการเห็นคุณค่าในของวัยรุ่นหญิงตอนต้น

The role of school nurses in promoting self-esteem to prevent sexual risk behavior of early-adolescent females

Self-esteem affects the risk behavior of adolescents including sexual risk behavior.  Early-adolescent females with low self-esteem often seek acceptance from their peers. They tend to have sex to feel good about themselves. Most early-adolescent females are in school. Hence, school nurses are health-care providers who take on a considerable role in promoting self-esteem in order to prevent sexual risk behavior for those people involved, as follows: 1) In early-adolescent females, they are determined to engage in sexual risk behavior. School nurses can enhance their self-esteem by encouragement in terms of being significant, competent, worthy and empowered. 2) Parents should enhance the ability to encourage self-esteem among their children. 3) Schools, especially management, should promote awareness about sexual risk behavior and they must provide a clear policy. The teacher should encourage self-esteem in sexual education courses. This article presents the importance of self-esteem of adolescents to prevent sexual risk behavior, and the role of school nurses to promote self-esteem in order to prevent sexual risk behavior.
