พฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปากของผู้ปกครองเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอพระพรหม จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับความรู้เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปากของผู้ปกครอง และ 2) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปากของผู้ปกครองเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ ผู้ปกครองเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก จำนวน 198 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบมีระบบ ใช้สถิติร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยส่วนเบี่ยงเบน Chi-square Test และ Fisher’s exact Test
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ ส่วนใหญ่ระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 84.8 มีทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก อยู่ในระดับสูงมากที่สุดร้อยละ 67.2 มีพฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปาก อยู่ในระดับต้องปรับปรุงมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 80.3 และปัจจัยด้านการได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสาร รายได้ของผู้ปกครองและความรู้เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลช่องปากของผู้ปกครองเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอพระพรหม จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05)
ข้อเสนอแนะ จากงานวิจัยผู้ปกครองยังมีความรู้ที่จะดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนที่ไม่เพียงพอ ดังนั้นควรข้อมูลใช้เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการวางแผนและพัฒนารูปแบบที่เหมาะสมในการดำเนินงานส่งเสริมสุขภาพช่องปากของเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก
