Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to: (1) examine the teamwork efficiency of personnel at the Praboromarajchanok Institute, and (2) compare teamwork efficiency across personnel groups within the Institute. The study population consisted of personnel at the Praboromarajchanok Institute. A sample size of 160 participants was calculated. The research instrument was a questionnaire validated by three experts, with a content validity index (CVI) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.98. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics used were Independent Samples t-test and one-way ANOVA, with pairwise comparisons conducted using the LSD method.

The results showed that 1) the overall teamwork efficiency of personnel was at a high level (M= 4.32, SD= 0.57); 2) Personnel with different educational levels demonstrated significantly different teamwork efficiency in collaboration, creativity, and overall scores (p = 0.16, < 0.01, and 0.02, respectively). In addition, personnel with different job types showed significantly different teamwork efficiency in communication (p = 0.02). However, no significant differences in teamwork efficiency across all dimensions were found when comparing personnel by gender, age, or years of work experience.

Therefore, the Praboromarajchanok Institute should utilize these findings to enhance the teamwork efficiency of its personnel by promoting and strengthening collaboration skills, creativity, and communication among staff at all levels.
