Model of systematic care for elderly in unit service Health in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

Study is a quasi-experimental research which has objective to Model of systematic care for elderly in unit service Health in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The sample of the study is collected from all database age group above 60 years. By using multi-stage random sampling. There are 180 cases in this study with 3 groups (60 cases/group). Comparative and experimental two groups in size. Model 1: Multi - Part service , Model 2: One Stop service. The statistic evaluation used percentage arithmetic mean and standard deviation for descriptive data and Dependent sample t-test and Kruskal-Wallis Test coefficient at 0.05 level were used for the data analysis. It’s 6 months after action in system. Questionnaires were used to interview personals of self-care behaviors health promotion, observation, and discussion. Result : control group’s level test to behavior increased. Dependent sample t-test show Model 2,3 were mean differentials significant in them group. (Mean diff.= 21.38, P-value < 0.001, 31.45, P-value < 0.001). Kruskal-Wallis Test statistics show between the three groups. There were significant differences and  significant 0.001. This study can be used to integrate and adapted care to elderly and other patient groups in primary care or clinic promotion from context. At least, its protect illness before timely and complications to cause self-care behavior not well.
