Abstract

Breast-associated morphea (BAM) is one of localized morphea with unusual location. There are predisposing factors causing BAM, trauma, radiation, medications, infection, autoimmunity, and microchimerism. BAM is an uncommon cause of breast erythema that can mimic various benign and malignant breast disorders. Early tissue biopsy is benefits to confirm the nature of the disease and to guide to subsequent therapeutic modalities.
