ดูพิลูแมบ ยารักษาโรคผื่นภูมิแพ้ผิวหนัง

ดูพิลูแมบเป็นยากลุ่ม monoclonal antibody ของมนุษย์ ออกฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการส่งสัญญาณของ interleukin-4 (IL-4) และ interleukin-13 (IL-13) โดยจับแบบเจาะจงกับหน่วยย่อย interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα) ของ IL-4 receptor ชนิดที่ 1 และ 2 โดยยับยั้งการส่งสัญญาณของ IL-4 ผ่านตัวรับชนิดที่ 1 และยับยั้งการส่งสัญญาณของ IL-4 และ IL-13 ผ่านตัวรับชนิดที่ 2 ทำให้ยับยั้งการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปร่างและการหลั่งไซโตไคน์ของ T-helper cell type 2 (Th2) ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการเกิดโรคผื่นภูมิแพ้ผิวหนัง ยามีข้อบ่งใช้เพื่อรักษาโรคผื่นภูมิแพ้ผิวหนังที่มีอาการระดับปานกลางและรุนแรง ในผู้ป่วยอายุตั้งแต่ 6 เดือนขึ้นไป ที่ไม่ตอบสนองต่อยาทาหรือมีข้อจำกัดในการใช้ยาทา จากงานวิจัยเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของยาดูพิลูแมบและยาหลอก พบว่ายาสามารถลดความรุนแรงของโรค ลดอาการคัน ลดความกังวลและเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วย อาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากยาที่พบมาก คือ เยื่อบุตาอักเสบ และ ปฏิกิริยาบริเวณที่ฉีด
