HEALTH COMMUNICATION ON AIDS, STIs AND HEPATITIS B AND C INFORM OF FACEBOOK LIVE

This study used a qualitative research model and using content analysis. The objectives of this study were to study the results and strategies of health communication on AIDS, STIs and hepatitis B and C in form of Facebook Live in fiscal year 2019. Use a method triangulation with an in-depth study of @aidsstis facebook fanpage, in-depth interviews with the sample group and participatory observation and then take into account the consistency of the data. The results of the study found that the number of page followers after the activities increased from before the activities amounted to 7,966 people. The activities with the most people reach came from interesting, engaging content and a lot of sharing. The Uses and gratifications of participating in the Facebook Live were found to follow the page and Facebook Live activities because this page dedicated to AIDS, STIs and hepatitis B and C knowledge and gain additional knowledge to be practical and recommendable. The moderators talk fun, friendly, explain clearly, including having prizes as an incentive for participating in the activities. And the communication strategies of @aidsstis facebook fanpage are (1) planning activities (2) moderators have communication skills (3) creating a memorable personality of the moderators (4) creating content academics based on content marketing (5) establishing rules for participating in activities (6) building networks with social media influencers and (7) continuity in organizing activities. The recommendations are as follows: (1) to develop content and formats that are suitable for the target group (2) to develop activities and communication channels for health literacy (3) to study other forms of communication that are suitable for platform and (4) further study on knowledge, attitudes and behaviors to prevent AIDS, STIs B and C after following Facebook Live.
