Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements of Author guideline of this journal
  • The list of authors that appear in the article is those important parts of the research topic including design, implementation or interpretation of the research results as shown in the article.
  • All authors have read and agreed to submit articles to the journal. All authors consent to have the final article published and agree to be responsible for all works submitted to the journal.
  • The Editor-in-Chief or their Associate Editor may, at their sole discretion, cancel the acceptance of any paper. The editors are not responsible for the content of all submitted materials.
  • The journal will contact you via email entered in the online system. Please carefully check in your inbox or spam/junk mail. For reply, please log in through ThaiJo system with your username and password, do not reply an e-mail directly.

All the submitted manuscript will be blindly reviewed by at least 2 reviewers

  • The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc file) in Thai or English. Browallia New font, size 16, A4 size paper should be applied. The overall manuscript length should not exceed 25 pages with 1 spacing between lines (single space).
  • If there is a table, state the table name above the table. The numbers of the table should be in the order mentioned in the manuscript.
  • If there is a figure, number of the figure should be in the order mentioned in the manuscripts.

 

Review articles, Special articles, Guidelines and Interesting cases should be written in Thai or English with maximum 20 pages in length. The manuscript should be included the topics as following;

  • Title in Thai and English
  • Name and affiliations of the author(s) in Thai and English. Please specify corresponding author
  • Abstract in Thai and English with maximum 250 words
  • Keyword (s) in Thai and English with maximum 6 words
  • Introduction
  • Text
  • Conclusion
  • References
  • Table, if any
  • Figures and figure legends, if any

Research article should be written in Thai or English with maximum 20 pages in length. The manuscript should be included the topics as following;

  • Title in Thai and English
  • Name and affiliations of the author(s) in Thai and English. Please specify corresponding author
  • Abstract in Thai and English with maximum 250 words
  • Keyword (s) in Thai and English with maximum 6 words
  • Introduction
  • Materials and methods
  • Results

  • Table, if any

Reference format is followed by the Vancouver style by citing the numbers (as superscript format) in the order mentioned in the manuscript.

Special article

Articles which gather academic evidences on novel up-to-date topics or currently interested clinical practice recommendations issued by the Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition of Thailand

Review article

Articles with various literature reviews, compiling academic evidenceห covering all important aspects of the topics. The articles should profoundly organize knowledge to make knowledge easier to understand and can be applied to clinical nutrition.

Research article

Original research related to nutrition knowledge of doctors, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians, nutritionists or students in relevant courses.

Interesting case

Report cases of patients with interesting nutritional problems. The authors should provide history of the patients, clinical symptoms and relevant laboratory results and discuss about patients' problems. Summary of practice on diagnosis or treatment should be given. A brief literature review of the main issues is recommended.

Brief communication

Short articles (2-5 pages in length) in the form of answering questions or comments on topics of interest by the experts. A short academic review article is also welcome.
