Implementation Research: Competencies of Advance Practice Nurses Implementation Research: Competencies of Advance Practice Nurses
Main Article Content
Abstract
There have been many terms used to describe the process of putting knowledge into practice. Implementation science as a branch of knowledge translation has emerged with the aim of bringing research findings to practice. Translational research is the process of applying knowledge from basic research and clinical trials to clinical practice across the system. Implementation research attempts to explore barriers to the application of research findings and solve a wide range of implementation problems. This article describes these relative sciences in order to enhance understanding and potential among advance practice nurses in utilizing the research findings in their clinical practice.
