การจัดการดูแลผู้ป่วยสูงอายุที่มีแผลเบาหวานที่เท้าและเสี่ยงสูงต่อการถูกตัดเท้า: กรณีศึกษา

บทคัดย่อ
ปัญหาแผลที่เท้าเป็นภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่สำคัญ และพบบ่อยในผู้ป่วยสูงอายุเบาหวาน เนื่องจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงของร่างกายตามวัยผู้สูงอายุ และการไม่สามารถควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดได้ดี ส่งผลให้หลอดเลือดส่วนปลายและเส้นประสาทส่วนปลายเสื่อม ทำให้เกิดอาการชาบริเวณปลายเท้า การรับรู้ความรู้สึกลดลง ร่วมกับการมีพฤติกรรมการดูแลเท้าที่ไม่เหมาะสมส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยสูงอายุเบาหวานมีโอกาสเกิดแผลที่เท้าได้ง่าย หากแผลที่เท้าเกิดการติดเชื้อจะมีอัตราการถูกตัดเท้าสูง รวมถึงการเสียชีวิตในที่สุด บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอตัวอย่างกรณีศึกษาผู้ป่วยสูงอายุที่มีแผลเบาหวานที่เท้าและความเสี่ยงสูงต่อการถูกตัดเท้า โดยบูรณาการบทบาทพยาบาลผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูงที่ได้กระทำจริงในการจัดการดูแล เพื่อช่วยเหลือให้ผู้ป่วยสูงอายุเบาหวานสามารถปรับตัวอยู่กับโรคได้ และลดการถูกตัดเท้า ซึ่งเป็นการส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุเบาหวานให้ดีขึ้นต่อไป
