Development of Care for Elderly in Community: A Case Study of Khao Thong Community การพัฒนางานการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน: กรณีศึกษา ชุมชนตำบลเขาทอง

Abstract

            The elderly in Thailand continue to grow as the Aging society in 2021.  Therefore, care for the elderly must be developed to keep pace with the growth of the elderly population in the country.  To provide care for the elderly thoroughly and effectively; especially in communities where health care is not as thorough as it should be; nursing care for the elderly in the community must be supervised by professional nurses.  In addition, a network in community could help nurses to care for elderly; for example the monk who was respect by the people, District Health Promotion Hospital; local government, community leader, village health volunteer, school in the community.  Proactive care model was used along with network in community which resulted in regular sustainable of health care in the community.


 


บทคัดย่อ


             ปัจจุบัน ผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทยมีอัตราสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องจนเกือบเป็นสังคมผู้สูงอายุอย่างสมบูรณ์ในปี พ.ศ. 2564 ดังนั้นการดูแลผู้สูงอายุจึงต้องมีการพัฒนาให้ทันต่อการเติบโตของอัตราผู้สูงอายุในประเทศ เพื่อให้การดูแลผู้สูงอายุเป็นไปอย่างทั่วถึงและมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในชุมชนที่การดูแลด้านสุขภาพยังเข้าไปไม่ทั่วถึงเท่าที่ควร การดูแลให้การพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนจึงต้องมีการดูแล โดยมีพยาบาลวิชาชีพเป็นผู้นำในทีม มีภาคีเครือข่ายในการช่วยดูแล ประกอบด้วย พระสงฆ์ซึ่งเป็นบุคคลที่ชาวบ้านให้การเคารพนับถือ โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพประจำตำบล องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ผู้นำชุมชน อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน รวมถึงสถานศึกษาในชุมชนนั้นๆ ใช้รูปแบบการดูแลแบบเชิงรุก การมีภาคีเครือข่ายส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนในชุมชน จะส่งผลให้การดูแลสุขภาพในชุมชนเป็นไปอย่างสม่ำเสมอและยั่งยืน
