การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพ และความปลอดภัยในการดูแลผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับยาวาร์ฟารินก่อนและหลังเข้ารับการรักษาในคลินิกวาร์ฟารินของโรงพยาบาลพระจอมเกล้าจังหวัดเพชรบุรี

บทคัดย่อ

Objective: To Compare the efficacy and safety of warfarin management before and after treatment in warfarin clinic in Phrachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi.

Methods: This is a cohort design, observation study. The 56 patients with age more than 20 years treated with warfarin in general medicine clinic more than 4 months before refer to warfarin clinic since December 2012 to June 2013 were collected baseline characteristics, coagulogram and complication to compared the efficacy and safety of warfarin management before and after treatment in warfarin Clinic for 4 months in Phrachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi.

Result: The 56 patients were treated in warfarin clinic in Phrachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi from December 2012 to June 2013. 32 patients were males (57.1%) and 24 patients were females (42.9%). Most of patient’s age were more than 40 years. The underlying diseases were atrial fibrillation (51.8%) and post valvular replacement (48.2%). After statistical analysis, it showed that efficacy after treatment in warfarin clinic for 4 months was better than before (p < 0.001). There was 1 major complication (intracranial hematoma) before treatment in warfarin clinic but no major complication after treatment in warfarin clinic Conclusion: the efficacy and safety of warfarin management after treatment in warfarin clinic was better than before treatment in warfarin clinic in Phrachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi.
