การศึกษาระดับความเครียดและปัจจัยที่เป็นสาเหตุความเครียดจากงานของพยาบาลในโรงพยาบาลพระจอมเกล้า จังหวัดเพชรบุรี

บทคัดย่อ

Objective: To study the stress levels and factors of occupational stress among nurses in Prachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi.

Method: This is cross - sectional descriptive study. The 2 questionnaires, Thai job stress questionnaire and Thai stress questionnaire, were distributed to 215 nurses in Prachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi by randomized method. The data were analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation.

Result: The stress level rates in nurses were 45.3 % of high level, 43.4 % of moderated level, and 6.9 % of severe level. The type of work, according to stress theory among nurses in this hospital was the active work (38.1%). The cause factors of occupational stress among nurses were 40% of low job decision latitude, 58.1% of high job demands, 53.0% of inappropriate payment, 64.7% of low co-worker supports and 31.6% of much physical health hazards.

Conclusion: Nurses in Prachomklao Hospital, Petchaburi had been high stress level. The cause factors of occupational stress that should be concerned were reduction of job demands, development of better team work, adjustment of payments, and reduction of physical health hazards.
