การตรวจคัดกรองโรคธาลัสซีเมียในหญิงตั้งครรภ์ โรงพยาบาลมะการักษ์ พ.ศ. 2550-2552
บทคัดย่อ
A retrospective study was performed to analyse outcome of pregnancy screening program of Thalassemia in Makarak hospital during 2007-2009. Approximately 50% of pregnant women underwent ANC before 16 weeks of gestation. All pregnant women were screened for thalassemia at first antenatal care visit and 26.19-31.08% were detected as abnormality. For these cases, their husbands underwent screening program 74.69-97.89% and eight risked couples were found in the 847 screened couples (approximately 1:105). After prenatal diagnosis, three severe thalassemic fetuses were detected (approximately 1:282). Early ANC visit should be encouraged for good outcome of the screening program.
