ประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมการสนับสนุนดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูง : กรณีศึกษาโรงพยาบาลนครปฐม

บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this quasi experiment research were to study the effectiveness of the program for enhancing care support of patients with hypertension. Studied subjects obtained by caregivers in same family inclusion of patients with hypertension treated at Nakhonpathom hospital. Samples were 30 caregivers and 30 matched patients with hypertension derived by purposive sampling technique. Tools used for collection of data were questionnaires. Data were presented and analyzed in percentage (%), mean (x) standard deviation (S.D.) and t-test (paired samples)

The results showed that caregivers had knowledge about hypertension, social support (emotional, information and services) and promotion of health care in items of consumption of food, promotion of exercise, relaxation of stress, medication and meeting doctor higher than before statistically significant at .05 level. The patients received social support also had self-care behaviors higher than before the program statistically significantly at the 0.05 level.

Recommendations are caregivers including all family members have a very important role to modify the knownledge and behaviors of patients with hypertension and encourage them to have their own health care accurately and appropriately.
